After a nice 4 hour nap...

I have definitely EFFED up my sleeping schedule hard core. It is so hard when sometimes I close and sometimes I open the restaurant, etc etc. The time differences here are crucial. Coming in as a mid-day manager means I am there from 11-10pm, closing means I don't even get there till 3pm and I'm out, depending on a lot of factors, between 12:30 and the latest I have stayed is 4am (don't ask). So, you see my dilemma on my days off for when to wake up, go to sleep, etc.

Since it has been so cold lately I haven't even set an alarm because I don't really care to go outside HHAHA. But, I made it a point to go to bed at midnight tonight and of course, here I am, at 4am up. Now it is 5:30 and I am still up and don't feel an ounce of sleepyness. I think I'm going to do all the things I wanted to do when I woke up at 8am and then go and nap? I dunno, we'll see I guess.

There are two sites I really want to share with you. One is Startsampling I use to be really into this site in Jr High and the beginning of highschool, then I forgot my login info and truly forgot about the entire site until the other day. It is a really cool and easy way to get free samples (also something I was REALLY into in Jr High/HS, I'd call up companies 1-800 #'s just to see if they could send me anything!). I just set up a new account and have several one issue samples of magazine's on their way, which is totally cool because there is NOTHING to cancel. Unlike getting "samples" for magazine companies themselves, with startsampling, they send you one issue, and that's it. If you want more, you have to go out of your way and sign up for more. Loves it. Also, they had 22 issues of Fitness free, yes please!

The other site is Mint.com. This website was featured in Forbes magazine as a new up-and-coming .com venture. Basically it is like Quicken (an accounting program) but free, and it also syncs up with all your accounts online (that you enter into its database) on a daily basis and it computes all types of statistics for you. How much you owe, where you spend it, etc etc. The reason it is free is because it also gives you info on how you can save money. For example, it told me I could save 1,500 dollars by switching to a new credit card- so if I actually had done that mint.com would have been given some type of ad money from the CC place, I didn't do it, but if they ever have something worth while I will.

I leave you with my awesome kiddens. and scooby.

XOXO
